GoDS proudly announces our triumphant return to hosting LANs. This will be our first LAN since June of 2003. Prior to this we hosted 24 LANs between June 2000 and May 2002 at regular interval before we lost our ability to host LANs. We struggled to find a replacement and found tech21 and had a 30man LAN. Still searching for something closer to home (Philly for most GoDS Members) we helped staff Philly Frag Fest, while it was fun (and scary at times) it wasn't to be.
During our time without a home base we helped jumpstart the GXL and have been making the rounds on LANs from VA to Western PA with the usual stops in between in Philly and NJ. Then we stumbled upon a new possibility...
40 man LAN

Air Conditioned!
Off street parking

And definitely not "ghetto" in anyway shape.

UT2k4 3v3 Team Death Match
COD 4v4 Search and Destroy

Did I mention it's 40man lan???
Sorry I know length of lans are big for you guys but I'm not gonna promise anything just yet. We will take it into consideration if there is alot of demand for a lan over 24 hours.

Sorry for the delay but as you can read in the other section, I was busy building and testing my new machine. We should have an announce ment and registration should be up before long (this weekend if I can tear myself away from BF2).

Just log into your account and you can select your own seat (payment confirmed)...
Seats can only be selected after you prepay, and we confirm the payment has been received.

| Do we use our existing site account or do we need to create another one for the LAN registration?

Yeah I figured that out after I posted. I wasn't sure what my password was for the site here so that's why I asked. I'm going to attempt to take vacation that week from work so that I can come up to the LAN. Been a while since I went to a LAN specifically to play and have fun, so it would be nice to be able to go to one with people I know as well.
Hoping maybe Killbane will go as well so we can get a lot of traffic up there!

Well there are only 2 games that I can think of that are multiplayer and "FREE"...
America's Army
and
Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory
Both are great games and fun to play. I'm sure we'll have the installers for both at the event. If there is a game of Wolf:ET up I will almost guarentee I'll be in it!
